I have a page with 2 forms on it. The master form has a list box. The child form also has a listbox whose datasource needs to be the bound column value from the master listbox. Ajax dependent listboxes seem to only be for listboxes in the same form.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think thatīs not should be a problem because according to de DOM (Document Object Model) from Javascript all objects in a webpage are owned by object document, so in other words this means than youīre able to place the master listbox on a form and than place the slave on other form and itīll work perfect.

I make you sure than itīs possible to be done.

I wish you were right, but I can't make it work. I'm using version 4.3.00.7676 with a library update called Components983943393.zip which fixes autofill from an editable grid.

The Ajax wizard lets me see the Master and Slave listboxes and all seems well. It just doesn't work: the Slave listbox only has the Select Value option.

On the CCS examples thereīs a tutorial called "two dependant listboxes" and "three dependant listboxes" may you could check them out and try to adapt it to your case.
