I have a machine running XP patched to the latest patches and my codecharge installation has quit working! I have reinstalled it a half a dozen times and it still does not run. Starts with title page and looks like it is loading and then just stops. Help! any ideas what is going on....

Contact support viasupport@codecharge.com. Include your serial number.

Uninstalling CCS4 again, then use "regedit" program in Windows to delete the following registry directories:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio4
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio4
Then re-install CCS4 again. Be sure you are logged in as administrator.
If you work on Windows Vista or 7, please also turn off UAC and Windows Defender.

Just used this solution - it works, but here are a few tips:
1. If using the latest CCS version to run uninstall/re-install (automatic process), cancel after the existing version is uninstalled, to allow you to edit the registry.
2. A good registry editor is at www.regeditx.com. Free until Dec 31 2011.
3. Rename the registry folders (eg CodeChargeStudio4_old) rather than delete the folders.
4. You will need your serial number because after you rename the registry folders, you will have to reenter your serial number and get a new activation key. Refer to existing information in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio4 to enter the same information used when your first activated the software (not sure if this is important but worth doing just in case your name or other details are used in generating keys.)
Otherwise - all good.
