Hi All
I just set my data grid, tested by inserting few data in it..But the Total Records not counting is says only Total Records:
I did checked the total records count when setting the data grid..I just don't know where i missed so the total records not counting

recreate the page or at least the grid and see if same behaviour occurs.

well i edit total record properties and make data source table from my "member_id" integer field with auto incremented type.
It success showed and count all the total records that already added into the database including those that already deleted as well..But the counting is messy, so if the exist data are 10 but it will say the record it has 20 records so far. True i already added 20 data but i also deleted 10 data so it should say 10.
The counting records used MySQL auto incremented value 
All i want just count the exist data not all data that has been added so far

well.... thats not the way ccs will do it... ccs will do a count of the records returned by your grid parameters - if you let ccs build it that is.... if you modify it to do something different...
just try creating a new grid and compare the results.

should i drop all my database table first and recreate new grid again ?or should I leave current database that already added ?

no need to do anything to db. ccs is a rad tool - rapid application development - if the grid isnt behaving as you expect it literally takes 3 mins to recreate the grid and test. do it on a new page and that way you dont lose or change any of your existing project or data.

so it will easy for u to identify..Just import into your database, it's only one database with one table..i hope it wont bother u too much

Igan,
Usual error if you do not set up the record count control's type correctly to"text" or "integer" on the data tab. It could cause the problem you mentioned.

i did change the data type to integer, memo, text and all the data type i tested already but still blank

sorry fellas...for bothering you guys..Apparently something wrong with my software installation..I did clear re-installation and it works fine now. The table counted and showed the total records.
However the other problem is about the filter search..Where i used Listbox for showing the availability option and pointed to one of the tabel field. the problem is that the data shown in the listbox search filter is duplicate.
So for example one of the search filter has listbox :
table field > car_brand and so far recorded mercedes (2 record), BMW (1 record), honda (2 record)
then the filter search for Car Brand will display listbox of all car brand that in database..duplicate. I want just display per brand only and no need to be duplicate or showing all the records, How can I do that ?
I already set the data property of the listbox set the Unique option to YES, but still display duplicate

o i got it. I already found how to group it,,,just pop up the Data Source and right click to add group and choose the table field..
