im working on local server using wamp.
and i cant seem to figure out how to set up the concetion to db.
i worked with php maker there it was easy to set this up and you could do it manually.
so how do i do it in code charge? and how do i do it manually(in case i want to upload it to my server).

Download the ODBC Mysql connector
e.g. mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.7-win32.msi
or mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.8-win64.msi
(google it)
Install your odbc connector.
Then create a new ODBC data source.
Open the ODBC Data Source Administrator from the Start menu.
Click Add... and fill in the details giving your new connection a name.
Then follow the guide referred to above...
I hope that helps!
Make sure of course that WAMP is running.
