Hi All-

After this weekend our application started loading pages at unusably slow rates of speed sometimes 30 seconds to load the the index page, login page or other record management page.

This is the case from my pc's at home in Los Angeles, in Australia, Japan, etc... However sometimes the app loads at normal speeds on older PC's running either IE (not sure how old the IE version was) or Fire fox version 3. The host is loading the pages in under 9 seconds on all browser versions.

Has anyone experienced this, know what the issue may be? My host is scratching their head as this just happened over the weekend...

Do I need a new host, is there a application patch for this, scratching my head on this one.

Thanks

I've noticed that the new IE9 and FF4 are initially slow to load newly
visited sites. Likely something to do with prefetching or caching.
Chrome, Safari, Android and the Blackberry browsers all work as normal.

The domain is:

https://bflowsolution.com

I am getting load times over 45 seconds on FF4 and ie8 (110 seconds to load the login page form the index page)

At this point I feel like this is a hosting issue.

Dog slow from here in N. Florida. I see nothing in the html that would
warrant the slowness. I see that your provider is aplus.net out of
Lauderdale, and they're lickidy split from here since their own site is
actually hosted out of Lauderdale. Your's appears to be hosted out of
Kansas.

Looks as if the problem is coming from a router at Cogent Communications
in Miami.

Thanks All - I think my best bet is to move to a newhost. concidering godaddy. Any know issues with them. I figured they're good based on their size and reputation.

I have had nothing but awesomeness from Stormondemand.com

Seriously.
GoDaddy has been good too though.

Remember... go to fatwallet.com and get your Godaddy coupon codes before you pay full price at godaddy!

Since you're in Fla I recommend Webmasters.com in Tampa. A few dollars
more than the rest, but impeccable performance and customer service.

Thanks all i fixed the issue by migrating to Go Daddy. Funny how my old host closed the ticket stating "Your site is not moving slow...Trouble ticket closed" should I bother explaining that they are no longer the host... :-O
