I have set the file size in the upload control to 999,999,999 (I added the commas here for readability). Files over 2 meg are not uploaded and the record is not inserted in the database. Any suggestions?

Have U looked at your upload settings in php.ini???
Are U on a shared, VPS, or dedicated server????
Do you have a .htaccess file setup???

If your host allows you to use .htaccess files and these PHP values are allowed to be changed....
Put this in your .htaccess file
php_value max_input_time 1200
php_value max_execution_time 1200
php_value memory_limit 512M
php_value post_max_size 256M
php_value upload_max_filesize 256M
This will allow file uploads to 256Meg

I assume you know how to see your current PHP settings and to verify the .htaccess file has changed them...

thanks for the quick response! I changed the php.ini file and restarted the server. That did the trick.
Thanks again.
