Okey dokey, whats breaking CC with PHP 4.2 and Apache2 on an XP box?
I log into a cc site that has sessions that was working fine... and get:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster
Error 404
Apache/2.0.36 (Win32) PHP/4.2.1
Anyone hit this one?

There are a few major changes in
the latest PHP build. (check the php.net
site for the complete list).
The main features that CC uses are
sessions and external (global) variables.
This is from the php.net site:
>External variables (from the environment, the HTTP request,
>cookies or the web server) are no longer registered
>in the global scope by default.
The other change from previous versions is
the apache2 dll name- it has moved from the
"experimental" directory.
You may also want to manually look at the new php.ini file
and check for changed settings.
Hope this helps,
-bill

Garrrgghghghg Microsoft!!!!! I have determined that Apache 2.0 and PHP4 is a ripper together and CC supports them well. The bug is in XP
The problem is XP stuffing up SSL with Apache 1.34 and 2.0
Knowledge Base article: http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/#xpbug and MS support: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q317949
I reckon this was deliberate by Microsoft. Wait for this you have to PAY for the patch from Microsoft....... long live Jedi Master "Open Source" as it battles the "Darth XP" and the evil Microsft Empire....
