I have just noticed that when I update a date eg. dd/mm/yyyy it will update the database entry as mm/dd/yyyy unless the day or month is higher than 12.

I have all locales set to dd/mm/yyyy with United Kingdom and short date in the connection settings in Codecharge 4.3.

Any ideas?

Have you set the Format and DBFormat for the date field in CCS?

The two crucial settings, I think, are the Project-->Settings Locales&Encodings Date Display Format (which you've already mentioned); and the Date Format on the Server tab of the Connection properties. This last setting must match what the database expects, and if your dates are going in wrong you could try reversing the day and month positions here.

(If you get the project-level settings correct you shouldn't have to alter any setting at the control level. I leave the individual control's DBFormat blank for all date fields. )

Thanks for your replies.

I unticked "Use Internationalization Features" in Locales & Encodings. That has seemed to have fixed it!
