 Help for newbie.

I'm new at Codecharge v4.3.00.7676 so I hope this is the correct forum

I downloaded this version last week and start playing with it yesterday (makes no sense for me to try the beta just yet).

Here is my porblem(s).
1) I can create a new project (blank) and/or use the existing ones,
2) I can connect to my MS SQL 2K5 server using a Build String on DSN with no problems,
3) When I try to build a page using one of the tool box items (doesn't matter which one), I only get one table listed from my databse (there are 24 of them). I can type in the name of a table and all the clumns list fine, I can build a custom project in this manner fine, but after following all the tutorials and on lne samples and going over these forums, I don't think this is the way it should work,
4) I can run the Project Builder and every table is listed fine.

This happens with Access as well. I can create (or even use on of the built in connections) and the same thing happens. Using a builder, only one table and the relevant columns. Typing in the name of a table works, and lists all the columns.

For mssql, I've tried building a conneciton string using OLE DB, SLQ DSN and Native SQL (with/without Mars). Always the same thing.

The project compiles and publishes fine with no errors and evreything works.

I guess my question is, what am I missing?

This occurs on a VIsta32 machine. That is the only development machine I have available. I know that there is nothing wrong with the DB (same issue with Access and SQL), the connection strings (or DSN) are fine and work as expected.

I've disabled my firewall (which has no real bearing on things anyway), turned off my AV and even tried a direct conneciton to the same router as the serve is on (to bypass anything that may be in my wireless router), same results.

Thank you for any guidence and if posted in the wrong arena, please let me know and I can reposte elsewhere.

That's typically something seen when using an expired trial version.
Try contacting support directly for assistance on this.

Oh, I thought it was a 20 day Trial, so I checked the web site and confirmed this. I downloaded it on the 22nd and just installed it.

This makes no sense at all.

However, I will contact support, but already a little dissapointed in the usability.

Hi again. I submitted a request for Support. In the meanwhile, I just ran it again and it says I have "18 Days left", so I don't understand how it is or can be an expired Trial License.

This just makes absolutely no sense at all.

Anyway, hopefully support will have some kind of idea.
