I just upgraded our huge Social Media Project from Rel 4.3 ASP.net C# Inmotion to Rel 5 ASP.net 4.x Inmotion.

Before I pushed to convert button, really bad memories from upgrading from Rel 3 to 4 came back. Especially considering that our project contains 400 pages, lots of custom code, Ajax, Jquery, Java and so on.

What can I say ! 10 minutes later I was looking at the result and was kind of overwhelmed. Except for a few little compatibility problems between ASP.net 3.5 and 4 in our custom code everything was working as it is supposed to.

THIS JUST MADE MY DAY as I was already seeing myself adjusting 400 pages.

In my opinion the waiting for Rel. 5 was more than worth it. I know there are a lot of people here who can never be made happy. It is simply a never ending myriad of complaints. But I think we should all give them a BIG BREAK and thank them for a tool that

a) is still one of the most innovative RAD tools on the market
b) costs a fraction of what Ironspeed & Co would charge for their applications

I suggest, WE all here on this Forum support them with constructive input, suggestions and ideas and be more appreciative about their excellent and very responsive support team who always tries to come up with solutions.

I would like to join in the plaudits but the purchase system is broken, not a good start!
I look forward to getting a key so I can transform my existing site of 80 odd pages.

It took me a while to be able to purchase CCS 5 as I had to go through weird behaviors with the shopping not taking the upgrade. I had to add the full version of CCS 5 + the upgrade in order for the store to send to the checkout page. Once there removed the full blown version and it let me purchased the upgrade, try that, it might work for you as well :)
