Hello,
using ccs 4.3, sql server, VB.net (aspx) and IIS

I have a page with a record grid. I have set it up (in the builder) to "Autoincrement Primary key" in the first screen, and set the "id" field to be the primary key.

I finish the builder and test the page (IIS).

When I hit the button to add up a new record (once the form is filled), I get an error message (something like, I am translating from Spanish):

"Se termin la instruccin. No se puede insertar el valor NULL en la columna 'Id', tabla 'table_whatever'. La columna no admite valores NULL. Error de INSERT"

"Instruction end. It is not possible to insert a NULL value into the column "id", table 'table_whatever'. The column does not admit NULL values. INSERT error"

That "id" field in the SQL table is set to "int" and to be a primary key with no null values allowed.

I guess it is gotta be something easy to fix but....I have spent some time without luck.

Any tip to set me to the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure the field is set to Auto Increment in the database
schema.
