Hey,
I have submitted an issue with support, but wanted to get other peoples feedback as well.
I am experiencing long times when switching to the Code tab or Preview tab. Here are my results:
In restarted my computer and created 2 new test projects in 4.3 and 5.0.
In 4.3, it takes about 2-3 seconds to go to Code View and start editing
In 5.0 it takes about 7-8 seconds to go to Code View and start editing
---
For Preview Mode
In 4.3, it takes about 1-2 seconds to go to Preview Tab
In 5.0, it takes about 35-40 seconds to go to Preview Tab.
I am running on a fast Intel quad core 920 chip with 18GB of RAM.

The beta did that for me.. are you running the fully licensed version?

I downloaded the latest one from the website.
I checked and it is:
5.0.0.15522
how fast does yours switch to code view?

The registerd/paid version is much faster than the free one I find.
It switches over in less than a second.
