Hi Everyone,
Has anyone been able to install CCT on CCS5?
I emailed CCT 2 weeks ago and still no response.
Thanks

Hi Jan,
I contacted CCT and they told me that the current tools (ie, the ones for CCS4) don't work on CCS5. They told me to wait for the new ones. Good news is that the Dependent Listboxes Builder has been released recently (version 6.0) and I have already installed it successfully in CCS5.

I bought the dependent listbox tool when it first came out and used it on a number of projects. Really nice little tool for $12.50. Later CCS introduced their own dependent listbox builder and used that. What is the difference between the CCTool version and the built-in version?
I just logged into CCTools.com and see that I have listed only one purchase, the PayPal cart created, which I did not actually buy, but had purchased other tools before that were not listed so I suppose I do not get an update for the version 6 of the dependent listbox builder tool. I am sure they would correct the missing data, Frank was always quite responsive but I actually feel guilty for using up their time on an upgrade for a tool I only paid $12 for in the first place. I got $100 worth of use out of the old version.
From my past dealings with CCTools, they are a good outfit to know, very reasonable prices and effective tools. The Google Maps builder looks like a good addition for me also.
I hope they update all the tools for Ver 5 which appears to be a hit and which has renewed my faith in YesSoftware as being actively developing CCS. The 3 years of silence was cause for much concern.
