CCS 5.0, PHP 5.2, MySQL 5.0

Thinking about Artisteer, and wanting any opinion. Does CCS 5 and Artisteer work together? Any problems? Like it, don't like it?

thx

Artisteer says, it can export CCS5 design. It is not fully true.
To my experience (I have licence for CCS5 and Artisteer 3.1.0.xxxxx - the latest) menu from menubuilder is not working.
If you export Artisteer design, it can be easily adopt into CCS5 project, but to be able to display the menu, made by menubuilder, you have to clean and modify the generated code of CCS5.

In an other post I already gave explanation, how to do it.

Oper has totally rigth, comparing the CCS4.3-Artisteer to CCS5-Artisteer, the latter is lightyears far from the first solution. But you have to know, it is still not fully automated.

Solesz,

Try to insert menu with Menu Builder into panel Menu after "Apply design" to page :)

This is what the support says
Quote :
Horizontal menu
1. apply Design to CCS page. You should see the Menu Panel created.
2. locate cursor inside this panel and start CCS Menu Builder to create menu.
3. select Horizontal menu type on the third builder step.
4. generate the page using F8 option.

Vertical menu
1. apply Design to CCS page. You should see "SidebarN" panel (e.g. Sidebar1).
2. locate cursor inside this panel and start CCS Menu Builder
3. the step where you can select menu type is not disabled, menu is always vertical. When builder finishes you should get VerticalMenu panel inside SidebarN panel.
4. generate the page with F8 option.

but....
it only works with menues at the first level... if you try to build a menu with submenues all menuitems are in one row

I think that there is something wrong with the path in generated pages...
ie. <script type="text/javascript" src="./Designs/te5/jquery.js"></script>
is part of the code that is sent to the browser...
in preview mode it works fine... there ccs uses the absolute path to root

the case is still open and i will report here if a solution is found
