Now, I'm getting this error, when trying to publish an ASP.NET C# code project.

IIS7CreateApp has stopped working

There was one post, from 2008, where a CCS user had a problem with this error message. They mentioned that they resolved it, but never explained how.

Has anyone else received this message, while publishing their project to a localhost folder?

I have exactly the same problem and it seems here is no directive here.
I have worked extensively on IIS securiy for two days. I am not very good at coding, but the error seems to be the following:

Server Error in '/helloworldproject' Application.

In your label, make sure that any string is surrounded by quotes. Then republish, and see what happens.

I'm facing the same problem.

IIS7CreateApp has stopped working

After this error when I tried to access the webpage it gives me this error
