Okay guys,
Just wondering if CCS5 is stable enough to switch over to now from 4.3, or do they have a few bugs to iron out still
Best Regards,
Randall Jouett

I has been for me, it is faster, slicker and more polished. It is a breeze to integrate Artiseer templates except the Artiseer menus have a problem.
The data dictionary is worth the upgrade alone. They finally got design view to sync curser position with HTML position which really speeds HTML coding and debugging.
Some common tasks take more mouse clicks however with the Ribbon. It just feels like a more polished product.

Even is not 100% Stable and your plan for the future is keep going with CCS
you should get the version 5 and start getting used to it. and Test.
you dont have to upgrade your current APP Yet.
in my case we are doing some new app in 5.
but ours main app still on 4.3. untill we fill 100% confortable to do the change
also has the time to do it. (cant wait to doit version, 5.0 is really great)

Starting new projects in CCS5 is working fine and so far a very pleasant experience.
BUT PLEASE NOTE: If you have older projects which you want to upgrade, I would definitely wait as there are still many bugs CCS has to resolve. And the response time is not really great. I have three tickets running FOR A MONTH now in regards to Upgrade Bugs, and Codecharge is pretty much no support at all. Sometimes I get the impression, they are just waiting for me to forget about them.

I also have 3 open tickets, one of them is over 1,5 month old now...

I like when they ask for all kind of stuff to compile and provide and then disappear into thin air. I asked for a Status Update this morning and was told they will investigate. This is really starting to freak me out as I can not upgrade my 400 page project to CCS5.

Thanks for all the comments, folks. For the time being, I'm going to stick with 4.3 until I notice a "Yeah, it's pretty damn stable" forum post.
Regards,
