When I try to run CCS it gives me the splash screens, but as soon as the dockable windows appear the app just quits.
Solution: my internet connection uses an authenticated proxy server to get to the internet, and CCS 5 is set by default to automatically check in. Once I turned off the proxy connection, CCS couldn't check in and the windows loaded and the program is working.
In the program options drop down in the upper right corner, choose options and uncheck the checkbox for auto updating.
