Just when I thought I was going to get through a whole day without a bug !
Whammo - there it is - CCS has magically decided I no longer require a listbox and has offered to delete it from HTML for me during save!..
Of course it has already been deleted by CCS when it decided the listbox didn't exist but it is courteous enough to offer me a way to ascertain it is past the point of no return !

Hi
In my experience with CCS, since Ver 3, CodeCharge has always annoyingly re-written my HTML And also has exhibited the problem you mention here.
I have never been able to determine the sequence of events that cause this issue.
The only fix I know for this is.....
Shut off Auto Save! And Save All and backup after every 10 lines of code! LOL

Hi,
MichaelMcDonald:
The case you are describing happen when you break somehow the code, accidentally erase i.e. a < ! - - line...

Actually you are not so far from the way I handle this issue.
I am only save a page when I tested it on a local or on a remote server.
Before I make a quick generation. And again, do not save.
If the modification you made and CodeCharge made on your code is what you want, you go back to the IDE and save it.
If not, close the page, deny the offered save action, and re-open it.
In critical circumstances I use this solution.

I do sometimes wonder if it is to do with how Windows and DOTNET manage memory.
Maybe there's some obscure patch MS has never bothered to include in an update because they thought the issued had been sorted in a service pack.
I have also wondered why CCS asks if I want to save a page (including files in the services folder) when I have not actually opened them or done any work on them.)

Yes it is really strange why CCS wants to save 10-20 different pages...
I guess CCS is not using in this case a content checking system i.e. hash code md5, sha1 or whatever.
I understand how complicate would it be to avoid this situation... But sometime I feel well confused what happened... Feel like I do not have the control over the project...
