i am about to upgrade to Windows 8 from windows 7. just wondering if anyone had issue running CCS 5 on windows 8?

Resolved. Just go into Control Panel / Enable Resources. And mark '.Net framrwork 3.5' This should be done before installation.

if you installed windows 8 new, you have to install in addition the programm feature .net Framework 3.5 (system/programs/features install), you have to install ccs new. !
