I found an awesome country-state(province) table on the web. Runs beautifully in Firefox, Safari but like a 3-legged dog in IE. I have researched this and the problem is in how IE renders. No surprises there. So I am looking at methods for mysql to stream the resultset rather than loading all into memory at once and then pushing poor little IE so hard.
I have come across this:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/handler.html
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this type of predicament?

Has anyone else come across an issue where listboxes (maybe just dependent listboxes) datasourcing from tables with a couple of hundred records is very slow in IE but fast in FF, Chrome and Safari ?
