I think CC is not qualified to be nominated because a good application, especially for the CC which has no printed materials in the market, must have substantial users as well as good support.
Just look at this forum, how many questions/posts have not been answers?
Just look at this forums, how many posts/questions have been answered with qualified/good answer?
Just look at ths forums, how many posts have been posted complaining the bugs of the CCS?
Substantial support (community) does mean substantial (not hundred, but several thousand).

BAD Support.... you are looking for the wrong thing at the wrong place !!
Forums are a place for *users* to interact... they are not a place for YesSoftware to interact.... You see the forums of any software... even Microsoft... not all questions are answered! That's not the idea behind forums.. its people helping people...
And only things that are felt would benifit the larger community are answered by CC Support!
You want your quewstion answered by CodeCharge staff.. then submit it to codecharge *support*.. that's the place to get your support!!
If your questions are not answered there.. then you could crib...

Well done Sanddy.
"bad support" user, why post such a claim with no user name? How brawe.
Have you ever tried CC or CCS at least few hours?
Have you tried to post a topic in Microsoft or other forum and wait for official unswer? How many? Not many I suppose.
A forum is a forum, is not the Company. If you purchase the software than post an official question in the official channel. Than you can claim.

Stop cluttering the forum with complaints. This tool rocks to the point where I don't much support. When I have, I've gotten it right away.

Hello everyone,
I do not agree that CCS should be nominated as yet.
CCS is a product that shows much promise and working with it I get the same optimistic feeling as I had with Flash many years ago. However it is a very young product made by a small team and as such lacks the most important factor for a serious developer : comprehensive documentation and information.
Looking through the files I have found spelling mistakes (in code!) in some of the js files, this does not inspire confidence.
The YS information channels are confusing to say the least being divided into too many sites some with outdated old info. The NG shows most activity. This site is showing it's age being quite difficult to find information. This forum model is very primitive and does not give a positive impression when compared to free forum scripts like PHP-BB v2. I suggest a total redo of all the info-channels to improve usability.
I am usually positive about the support but lately I noticed a drop-off in the frequency of answers by CCS-teams in NG and this forum, haven't seen many posts by CCS-team for some days. I have submiited questions to the CCS support web a few days ago and am still waiting for replies.
Finally the programs paradigm only gets you half-way there :
You generate your basic web-app with the builder and then you're back to handcoding if you need more functionality. This manual coding is hampered by the lack of detailed refences and examples plus that there is no provision for re-usablity so you have to jump through hoops if you don't want to write the same logic many times for different sites/customers.
As a very busy developer I value re-usabilty very highly-
In CC you had a few very good features for re-usablity :
- make similar page
- copy forms between pages
- import pages from other projects into current
All gone in CCS
None of the code-gurus or team-leaders I have shown CCS to thought it was good enough to introduce to teams application toolkit yet.
I have yet to see any stunning sites developed entirely in CC/CCS.
In conclusion I will continue to investigate this promising product but CCS is not ready for prime time in its current iteration.
Greetings,
Dave
