How can I keep a link from showing on a page if the group_id is less than "2"?

just assign it empty value in field Before Show event.

I didn't find anything in the page you referenced to help me, and I'm not sure how I would assign an empty value in field - this isn't a field, is it? - if so, example please.
This link is at the bottom of the grid after the rows of records are displayed in Portal, person_list.
