Finally, tech support sent me the download link for CCS 5.1.0.18138 as a result of a couple of tickets which are now resolved.

I guess this means the update should be public any time soon.

I presume it is ok to request the download link for tech support directly if you do not want to wait.

I installed it and after I had to upgrade my projects, everything seems to be running fine and stable.

/me does Jedi mind trick:

- you don't need to ask support
- you can go to update download page
- you can use the new version number to download it now, even that it is not posted officially yet

O:)

Yes, with the conversion of the Ajax features to jQuery. I reported it to them.

A couple of other bugs I had reported were fixed when I tested by creating a new project.

I like the look of the JQuery integration (that wasn't in 5.0.x, was it?)

Conversion of 4.3 project had an unsable outcome; a lot of post editing would have been required. The worst upgrade experience so far; but then this is beta still, and the pain of converting to JQuery could be worthwhile.

as Michael "mentioned"...I think some (a lot ?) of us have problems with conversion, might be a summary topic in tip&solutions area would be helpful.
One example in my case (php/mysql, winxp/xamp development, win2008 server as live) : the ODBC 3.51 for the design connection fails on field level (test connection is OK, but Data Dictionary shows empty tables, and builders does not works at all); so all converted projects' connection settings has to be changed to the "Direct to Mysql" - after that the Data Dictionary works perfectly.

Hi,

I changed to 'Direct to MySql' at CCS_5.0.0.16254 and also CCS_5.1.0.18138, but still field names aren't shown at center window.... I reported as a bug a year ago and also yesterday...

Do you have a different version? Or must I do something more?

Thanks for your help...

Best regards.
