I have been using FancyBox to open modal windows for quite a while now.. and it fails to work when the link that triggers the modal is inside an Update Panel.
Anyone have a workaround?

Does it work when page is initially loaded, and then breaks down after at least one update panel refresh is done?
If so, you need to use the update panel onRefresh client-side event to re-initialize the fancybox.

Then maybe it's an issue with the library used for Update Panel and library used to write FancyBox.
I don't know what FancyBox is written in, however if it's jQuery you can check this out: http://learn.jquery.com/using-jquery-core/avoid-conflicts-other-libraries/
Especially the part where Prototype library is mentioned (as Update Panel is written in prototype).
