Oper,
Are you using Win8.1? I don't think you can remove IE11 from Win 8.1. My new laptop is win 8, and I had to go to a win 7 machine to be able to use CCS. They say it is working, but there do seem to be a lot of issues (FTP is currently being worked on among others). The other pointer I got from support was to update ODBC drivers as the most upto date are required. I do not see any tables when I open a builder. On Win7, they are all there. The update of ODBC drivers did not seem to help, but I have not fully tested my options.

OK for all who are having issues with 8.1 I found the problem it took a reformat and clean install of 8.1 before i figured it out.
if your having issues with ccs studio on a windows 8.1 OS the problem is in the .net framework in 8.1 they made it a feature and by default you must enable it.. ccs5 works perfectly now with ie 11 and windows 8.1 no issues.

Hope this helps everyone.

2Code,
I have 3.5 and 4 .NET installed and activated. Are you saying you need to have 3.5 installed? I think there are more issue than your post would lead one to believe. I am glad it worked for you, but I am still not able to use CCS in Win8.1

I had windows 8 install on a new computer after i upgraded it to 8.1 it wouldn't create pages it wouldn't build it did nothing now when i did a reformat of a fresh clean install of 8.1 not 8 8.1 and i went to install ccs5.1 the error that came up was the frame work installed is new than required ccs5 requires the 3.5 framework and the installer closed now 8.1 by default has 3.5 framework disabled so if you upgraded to 8.1 by default it is disable in windows 8.1 features regardless if it is installed or not.
