When I get results back from a search, the orginal question is not there!
This is BASIC forum protocol, is it not?
It's a real pain to find all associated responses to a particular question when a search is used.

Hello,
the workaround is to use Back button in browser to return to the same search results after viewing thread.

Nicole, yes but using the Back button is a real pain, especially with Netscape
because it complains the data was lost and I have to do a reload.
Why can't it be changed so the response has a "Thread" button that opens another
browser window so people can read the entire thread. It would make the search
facility sooooo much easier to use.

You're missing the point. If I do a keyword search, what is returned may or may not be ALL of the associated responses to the original question.
Also, because the reply form does NOT use the original topic as a re:, the replies may or may not use the original topic.
What this means is, if I do a search I'm not sure of the original topic, nor am I sure to have seen all of the responses.
This is basic forum protocol, being able to view the entire thread REGARDLESS of if the original topic heading was changed.
Basically what I'm saying is that this forum is not very use friendly.
