I like both products for different reasons but my question is which one will survive. As i'd like to focus on the winner.
After all some of my decisions in the past have left me with 8 track tapes and Beta format movies!

Yes, good question. I am concerned this might evolve into a Windows 95 vs Windows NT situation, where the two diverge and a later convergence (Windows XP) becomes painful and/or difficult.
Since it dilutes the creative process for Yes, I hope they take the best of both and just go with one environment. The price-differential is so small that I can't see that as an issue.

I second that motion. -- I like CC2 for its ease of use and the ability to generate ASP_2.0 code which is easier to edit than the ASP_3 code. I also like meny features of CCS. What I don't like is the build-in HTML editor. I would prefer tighter integration with either GoLive_6 or Dreamveaver_MX since they both generate clean code.

Having used CC for 8 months and CCS for 1 week, I am through with CC. Half of my time using CC was coding what CCS now does for me.

The answer is quite simple.
Whichever product has (and retains) the most customers.
CC2 is ideally suited for non-programmers.
CCS is for programmers.
These are 2 different markets with some overlap. (Remember Venn diagrams from
math class with 2 circles overlapping in the center?)
I think both products will survive because there are more than enough customers
for both.
Which is better? It all depends on your skill level.
