Is codecharge framework in 4.3 or 5.1 can minimize the chances for security issues like CSRF, SQL injection attacks, XSS, session fixation, MITM attacks?

Yes Totally. just follow the proper way

DBConnection.toSQL <---------------- is your friend

Impersonation can be done in any software if you don't encrypt the entry before send the data.
(Also you have to be in the same Network)

also very important do not make mistake if you forgot to create page without restriction (sound silly but happen )

I had two support questions answered between Christmas and New Years.... No complaints about support here. Using v5x with no issues.
