I have a SOAP call to make for data in a table. I can't find a place to put the code where it will fire and get the data loaded into a table. I asked support, but their answer to use the After Insert did not work. I can run it as a stand alone PHP script and I get data back. I just can't get it in the database.

Any ideas? anyone used SOAP to pull data back from a server and store into a table?

Thanks,

Roy,

Is it not firing or could it be firing and not getting a result back in time to pass to the database?

That is, can you put the code into After Insert, run it, and hardcode a return value for the database. Or try a call to a local file or service.

I've been lucky enough that any 'off-site' calls I've needed to do are handled with jquery so the server isn't waiting for the return message, but I have a suspicion that timing might be involved.

Cheers

Eric
