I'm new to CodeCharge.

I person created a project where I'm currently working but this person left.

I see the published pages on our web server but I can not find the project.

If I don't find this project, how can I modify these pages and publish them again?

NOTE: I installed CodeCharge (version 3 and 5) in my windows 7 machine.

Thank you

The project file has the extension .ccs; individual page source files are .ccp. Have a search for those file types.

Generally these files are not published to the web server, but it's worth checking.

Without the project and page source files I think your only option will be to recreate the project manually - so you'll have your work cut out. The published pages will give you some good clues (more if you're familiar with CCS) but as far as I'm aware there's no way to import the pages back into a project; too much metadata would have been lost.

Your best bet is finding where the developer put the source code. Perhaps there's a zipped copy of the project tucked away somewhere - even on the server.

murphy - you can also just edit the HTML and PHP files if you cannot find the CCS files or the Project. I admit it is not ideal as you lose the speed and usefulness of CodeCharge, but the website is not entirely lost.

For small things, it's achievable (adding a few fields, changing some layout) but bigger changes are a pain without the help of CodeCharge.

Cheers

Eric
