Hi together,
I have a Problem. I have mysql and php on a raspberry with debian on it.
I have build a grid (newest CCS version). My MYSQL-Server uses UTF-8.
With an older Site all works well i generated the code with other Software.
For Example (is german language)
1 Mittwoch, 17. Juni, 2015 | Urlaub auf Malle | <-ok, have no ä/ö/ü
2 Dienstag, 1. Dezember | | <-empty output , there is äöü
3 Donnerstag, 3. Dezember 2015 | Schaffen beim xxxr | <-ok
1 and 3 works well, there is no ä/ö/ü there.
Is in the Cell ä/ö/ö i become an empty output in the live view, or in browser, in the preview
is all ok. So Mysql sends the data correctly.
All Settings are set to utf-8 but there is no change. (Preferences, HTML Coding etc...)
I tried also another charsets but it dont change.
MYSQL ist ver 5.5.31
PHP is 5.4.4
Hope you can help my i try now 2 day to solve this problem^^ thanks

Nops77 - another place to check is in the page settings (right-click > Page Settings) as there is an Encoding setting there. Might have a different setting to the project?
Looking at the HTML source for this page with the correct letters, it's is
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
If you want to change the content type for a page, there is a Server Action 'Set Content Type' which might be worth playing with.
Of course it would all be easier if everyone wrote in English, dates were in US format, and there was only 1 time zone......
Cheers
Eric

Ha ha Eric.
I think Melbourne should get it's own timezone.
