I've just had a client ask if I would provide comprehensive code documentation. Anybody else been asked this and if so how did you go about it?

Not been asked for that, and the built in comments don't really explain it that well, but I've often wondered about some way of formatting pages or the CCP XML so it's easier to identify the Custom parts of the code, to assist other developers find their way.

I suppose it's a bit tricky as CCS is essentially a framework and handles all the CRUD stuff through it's code, and there isn't much to document. The same question could be asked of Rails or ASP.NET - at some point it's "framework uses built-in functions to update Database" etc.

Upside is - no one will ever read it? ;-)
