I use version 4. I want the client to be able to access my core files. Can I give them a copy of version 4 and let them buy a license for it without upgrading to version 5?

Yes you can, we still using CCS4.3, For Must of our Application (With Boostrap)
and the license allow you to have both version (asked to support)
we planing to buy another license this week for another Employee (CCS4.3)
PS: Just Few Project in CCS5 at this moment

If you buy a new licence you can ask about updates or new version of CodeCharge too ;)
