I have a component which I need to hide depending on data base field.
D/B field "types"
If I call up a a DB entry I want to show the component only if types = 4

I have tried the hide - show , add action but can not get it to work.
Could some kind soul point me in the right direction

Add a Hide-Show Component event, set it to Hide and Expression, and for
Parameter 1: $Container->ds->f("types") <> 4
