I used the builder to create a grid and record with AJAX interactive components checked. Along the way I renamed one of the forms, which may have something to do with the issue. Anyhow, on an insert, and I assume an edit, if one or more required fields are not filled in, the AJAX panel and it's contents just disappears without performing the insert. If I disable the Panel everything works as expected. The form stays visible with the field errors showing. I have looked in the html for the old form name and not found it: only references to the new form name. If a new form is completely filled in, not generating any errors, it is saved as expected. How can I get the AJAX panel to not disappear if there are validation errors?

I finally found references to the original form names in the features of the main panel. I was able to edit the file names and in some cases had to use the GUI editing to point to the correct method.
So be very careful when using the original wizard and set your form names in the wizard. Afterwards it's almost too late: unless you like 2 days of troubleshooting and swearing.

That sort of stuff usually breaks when code in the grey area (inc. the jquery bindings at the top of the page) is manually overwritten and becomes a white area.
