Is there a simple way in codecharge to get this done? I'd prefer PHP, but I'd accept JQuery or Javascript. I have a page with multiple tables, I am only trying to export one of them.
I've tried methods involving buttons and links with PHP or Jquery that I've found online, but either I get a browser error, or everything looks good, but when I click the button or link nothing happens.

Thank you!

There is an example on the codecharge example site exactly here:

There is a step-by-step tutorial.

Basically all is about to redirect the output using the HTML header, telling to the browser that the content gonna be xls or xlsx. As far as I know, for this solution EXCEL has to be installed on the client computer.

To temper expectations a little, this export technology is not a true Excel export. It is a saving a render of the HTML page with an XLS extension, which Excel queries with a message, but successfully opens.
