Hi folks,
Yesterday my CCS worked perfectly. Today it will not run for more than ~30 seconds.
I start the program then normally see a notice about an update being available and
I can start work. However now no indication of an update and if I am fast enough I
can see that it is not activated.
We tested another computer and we have the same issue there as well. It is almost
as if the Yes Software activation servers are down.
Anyone any ideas please? This is truly maddening.

Hi, found it was the yes software servers were down.
ccs was checking for updates automatically and it failed
to reach the servers so it failed and closed disgracefully.
Seems a timeout causes an exception error on checking
for updates.
the cure was to not check for updates.
