This problem has only just started appearing and I don't know why. i have a small project and everytime i generate the pages, Codecharge says that they have been changed outside of codecharge even though they have not.

Anyone know why this might be?

Darren.

I had the same problem 2 months ago, you probably have a virus on your computer, a quick way to find out it's to search in window the files with this extention(*.eml). If you find a lot of these files, you definitly have a virus. Look at Norton symantec web site to find the fix. Try the FIXnimba & FIXnimbaE tools.

Hello,
the file that stores information about last date/time of site generation is called dirinfo.cci and it is located in the same folder as other generated site files. When site is regenerating the time of last file modification is compared to time of last file generation, once they are different you get warning message. Please check the date format used in dirinfo.cci. Then check system date format. If they are different (including separate date symbols) it may cause the problem. The other reason is different system and last generation dates.
You may disable this checking in menu Tools->Options. Uncheck 'Lock Edited Files' flag.

Thanks Nicole, that appears to be the problem. The file dirinfo.cci has all its dates listed in US format whereas my system is UK. How can I change Codecharge to list UK format instead?? I don't want to switch my OS to US date format.

Thanks again.

Darren,
There’s no option in CC to select date format for dirinfo.cci file. You can uncheck 'Lock Edited Files' flag in order to disable the checking

But I don't understand Nicole - why would it have suddenly started doing this? Does dirinfo.cci always store dates in US format?

Hello!

I've explored alla the options in Tools-> but I'have not found 'Lock Edited Files'.
It's missing or I've to stop working and go to sleep?

Thanks
