What Windows OS do you find works best for running CCS 5.x stably?

running well in Windows 10 (home and PRO)

Newly installed on Windows 7 Professional VM - appears to also run very solidly.

I dont think OS is an issue
we use Windows 7 and Windows 10 (with a single issue) CCS4.3 and CCS 5.0
Just 3 Thing:
1) Close CCS periodically
2) Avoid big COPY / Paste
3) and dont use Intellisense
we have like 4/5 License

recently we installed CCS in windows server 2016 and it always crashed everytime we trying to publish. So, I guess it is okay in development machines.

its a Server OS. But ...
it will work
but you will have to tune-up Security on Folders (etc)
but not recomended to develop in a Server OS

I don't have problem in Windows 10 (home and PRO)
1) Be carefull to don't close multiple ccs page quickly else CCS freezee
2) Sometimes when I search & replace in the project CCS close suddenly
I don't use WYSIWYG editor because I use bootstrap / jquery (not CCS Themes)

CCS 5.1 runs fine on Windows 10 for me. Occasional crashes - no worse, probably better, than average experience over the last 15 years. Worst thing is tracking down popup windows - the SQL editor can take some work to get into focus.
