Today I saw someone's posts for jdk 1.8 support . After several hours work,I finally figure it out. Modify File:C:\Program Files\CodeChargeStudio4\Components\CodeTemplates\Common\Java\javaAppBuild.js or C:\Program Files\CodeChargeStudio5\Components\CodeTemplates\Common\Java\javaAppBuild.js.
The jdk version limitation is up to 1.7, you can modify either one to support jdk 1.8 depending on which ccs version you use.
Is the roundtrip method out-of-date? I don't think so. The javascript rich client only causes too much trouble in DB applicaiton development and needs extra expenses to maintain.
Too many web developing methods comes and go these years, ccs still gains a sharper edge for its rational function seperation between browser javascript and server scripts. I wish CCS version 6 will come soon.
