I just want to know if anybody feels the same way I do. I've been reading these forms for more than a year now, and gradually it has become more and more difficult to find what I'm looking for. Now, with the addition of CCS this becomes even greater. I know I could put this in the suggestions list, but honestly, how effective would that be? I would like to propose that CC do one of the following...
1.) Create new fields such as:
a.) Program (CC/CCS)
b.) Version
c.) Platform
d.) Language (PHP, PHP/Templates, ASP, etc.)
* feel free to add to this list
2.) Give in to the fact that this forum can no longer handle what it was originally meant to do, and implement something like phpBB, Yabb, or another of the hundreds of other Forum systems out there. The CC Forum was/still is great for simple discussion, but the CC Community has out-grown it.
Thanks,
Steve

I agree, Steve, thought I was the only one with problems to read and find discussions. If I may add a suggestion: make groups of the answered questions, like: upload, login, popup window, etc. It makes it easier to find an solution on a problem en prevent asking the same question every time.

I totally agree. This forum is simple, yet effective, but they need to move on to bigger and better things.
Here is the reason why I think why:
The support model used by Codecharge is strictly email only. This leaves user-forums a must-have for C.C customers.
They also don't ever update their Bulletins board at http://support.codecharge.com
I would like to more updates like bug-lists, etc added to the forum. Also catagorizing the threads/posts is pretty much stanard on any forum.
Please pull someone out from your busy schedule for a week or so and update this site. Then again, this site is so full of data now that I would maybe take longer time or more people to accomplish it now.

I have to agree also. I haven't been here in a few months, and I cannot find specific CCStudio issues only and it's driving me nuts! I would like to see something like YaBB on the site, but it would probably need to be in ASP instead!
I think part of the issue is that if they install a bulletin board, they really need to create it with CCStudio or CC. Can you imagine the # of people saying, "How did you build this bulletin board? I want something like this!" Then it becomes an issue of adapting elements of a fine solution (such ass YaBB) to fit CC vs. creating a new application that is 100% CC or CCS. That's a lot of work, either way - support time vs. development time. And then there's the issues of how to transfer the current info into the new structure. I'm glad I don't have that headache!
That being said, I do believe that something along the same lines as YaBB (with fewer features) could be created using CCS - it's an excellent product with a steep learning curve. I'm sure that the developers are working on something new for the site. But if they're not, perhaps someone wants to take it on and create an OS bulletin board using CCS?

Another week has begun, and this Forum has become more and more difficult to browse, search, or even follow for that matter. CC, are you in thr progress of adressing this problem? A simple reply that you actually do care about the users here would be appreciated... I know that's a bit harsh, but any reply is better than no replay at all.
Thanks,
Steve

Perhaps start with something as simple as 1 forum for CC and 1 for CCS. Adding a field for deployment platform applicability (i.e. ASP, Java, ALL, etc.) would be a great step after that.
