Kudos to CCS for a job well done!!
I have added two mature Open Source projects to my portal with great success. 1) WebCalendar http://sourceforge.net/projects/webcalendar/ This project has been a great addition. I like the group function. (need cron/*nix for email reminders)
2) SquirrelMail(WebMail) http://sourceforge.net/projects/squirrelmail/ Great webmail project with spellchecker. (need IMAP)
Also, some great classes at http://www.phpclasses.org/

So, I guess your saying that you incorported outside classes into the CCS portal app? How is this done. I would love to incorporate some classes!

Add the classes to the classes.php file in the common section of your project. I think that should make them available thrueout your project.
