As I said in my previous message, all the aplication works well, the only problem is when I try to insert a new dept, the update works fine. I can insert, update and delete in the employee table perfectly well. So I dont know what is wrong with the deps table.
PS: Nicole, do you want me to give you my email in a next message so as to send the code for you to look at it.

well.. what exactly happens when you hit insert button on the depts record form? Any error messages?
Print generated sql for testing purposes. Is it correct? Run it against db, is the new record added?
