Hello,

Whenever I try to login to my database I get the error message:

Unable to establish connection to database.
Error information:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E4D)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too many client tasks.

It was working fine for about a day. Why isn't it working now? I'm using an ODBC connection, plus the database uses ASP pages. The database is on an offsite server, uploaded using ftp.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm also using MS Access as my database, plus CC Studio as my design program.

Hello,
refer to the Microsoft article:

Hope it helps.

I saw that article too. The problem is that I bought web space on an independent server to publish the database. I don't have direct control over the server itself.

Everyday, for about 7 hours, the database works fine. Then, around 4pm eastern time it gives me that error message again. Could this be because of increased use of the web server? Or perhaps scheduled maintenance?

Is this a server problem or is this something I can take care of remotely?

If anyone has had any experience with this sort of problem please let me know. The customer support for my web space is really slow. Guess I got what I paid for. :)
