Help, I have configured all my variables to conect to MySQL hosted on another server but I keep getting the error when I goto the page:
Database error: cannot use database planetdb.users
MySQL Error: 1102 (Incorrect database name 'planetdb.users')
Session halted.
I think it is because There is no way to add the DB port.

Tony,
have you managed to connect to mysql db using custom PHP code? In this case you can compare the connection strings and modify the one in db_mysql.php.
