I was debating to buy the studio or standard when I read the comparison on their website that stated the studio had 2 year upgrade and 1 year support. So I bought the studio as it was clearly a better investment. Now I am being denied what I paid for and the page I read is no longer on their site. I do not know how to prove my case but if any one else has the same or similar problem please post it here. This is totally fraudulent marketing. Thank you.

Hi,

Why False?

Is is very clear you can buy CC 2.05 or CCS 1.07 and if you like a support / upgrade contract.

If you still do have questions, no problem. Just mail toinfo@codecharge.com and I am sure you will be informed in a proper way.

Of course you may post your messages here, but think before posting is someone else in the world or someone of CodeCharge can answer your question.

Regards,
Marco

Hmmm...either your browser or your brain has a 2 month cache....coz CodeCharge Pro which had 2 year upgrade and 1 year support was discontinued after the release of CodeCharge Studio 2 months ago.

Besides, of all the people who have purchased CodeCharge Studio, why would you be the only one to have 2 year upgrade and 1 year support?

Cheated, nowhere was there reference to CC_Studio terms you are quoting. Those terms applied to CC_Pro ONLY.
=====================================================================
CodeCharge_Pro was a product available before the FORMAL release of CodeCharge Studio 1.x.
It was essentially CodeCharge with extended support and free upgrade to the Studio when it would become available --> at that time there was only an announcement of the intent to release the Studio.
BTW, the CC_Pro was $279 while the CC1.x with its standard support was $149.

We, the early CC adopters, have purchased CC_Pro have put ourselves into the hands of YesSoftware developers working on then "vapor-ware" called Studio. For that we were rewarded by different licencing terms than those available today.

a) The terms were for CodeCharge Professional, which consisted of the regular CodeCharge + Support + Upgrades.
b) What exactly are you denied? If you purchased that package then you are entitled to 2-year upgrades and you are entitled to 1-year support. Who is denying you these benefits?

I'm afraid that I too feel a little mislead by the advertising. I purchased CodeCharge 2.0 very late in the game with the understanding that I could upgrade CCS when it arrived a couple of months later without additional cost. I have nothing to show for this but the general impressions I had when I made my purchase.

My biggest beef with CCS (which they bought where I work) is that it seems to have alot more work involned for about the same degree or less output than Version 2.0. The company bought this for a RAD tool, not to have another 'compiler' hanging around.

I'm finding that building 'dinky recordset' pages is fast and straightforward, but that putting together anything substantial is difficult - not to mention poorly explained in the 'manuals'.

I do not believe that you have been mislead by anything. You just did not verify what you were buing. You probably thought that by purchasing CodeCharge 2.0 you will automatically get the benefits that went with the purchase of CodeChargePRO (a higher priced option), which judging from all your posts was probably discontinued at the time of your purchase.
