Has anyone implemented the wysiwyg content editor from www.siteobjects.com into Studio? It is invoked as a CF custom tag that must fall within the form tag. It works but I have to 'custom' the code which means that it will no longer auto generate. I'd like to stay within the CCS paradigm if I could.
Any suggestions?

I use the public domain editor that is available as a free extension to dreamweaver. It cant insert images but for articles and news items it's great. I had one problem with it editing submitted pieces. Getting them from the database back into the editor looked difficult but turned out to be very easy (these days I tend to look for complex solutions when the simple ones are staring me right in the face :-)
I think it's a great wysiwyg editor considering it's free. The code is added in html and javascript so almost becomes an integral part of the ccs project( it has a directory comntaining images and 1 external html page that is loaded into an iframe)Have a look maybe it's something you can use.

I'm not sure if we are talking the same topic. This is an editor for content developers not the app developer. These folks don't have dreamweaver or any need for it (they are not in charge of the artsy part of the site, just the data). They don't have to ftp to the site or use Front Page and publish. This editor provides a content authoring tool designed specifically for dynamic web applications. This customizable editor allows developers to make it possible for anyone to create, edit and maintain web content without the need for HTML knowledge or programming expertise. Are we talking the same thing? What is the name/info on this extension?

Tom, we are talking about the same thing. The dreamweaver extension I was talking about is just a tool in Dreamveaver to insert a wysiwyg editor in your page. It puts all the required html and javascript code in the page. I import that into CCS and modify it so the output of the editor can be inserted in the database and vice versa. The end user uses the editor online to write articles and stuf and the editor makes sure the html is made available for php to insert. The people using the intranet do not have to know anything about html and they dont need Dreamweaver to use it.
