I have re-done the portal from the ground up with CCS. I liked the IBUYSPY idea on ASP.NET, but what I did not like was the inflexibale way that you don't have that much control over how those components was placed on the page. So, I have created a portal, like IBS, with modules that can be dropped onto any aspx page. Simply create a new page, drop the modules you want on the page and sit back and see your page come to life. In addition, all the modules uses one data store, which allows for creating a super powerful search eninge. And it's expanding all the time. It runs on SQL and ASP.NET, using C#. I might make this available commercially when I am done. Next steps is integration for ASP.NET forums. So, if you are interested, let me know asportal@itoybox.net.
Thanks CodeCharge for making my job a whole lot simpler.

Module Admin (Links that shows up for admin on each module to admin)

Strengths:
~ Toolbars have a security flag, which will dynamically show up based on user role.
~ Content shares single repository, which allows for a powerful search page.
~ Content Edit page dynamically loads field only required for each module.
~ Custom Admin class for miscellanous stuff that CCS do not allow you to change.
Any other modules that would be worth while?

The advert HTML text are stored in the database, and I use a SQL query to return a random row, this I have random adverts coming up with every load.

I'm interested in what you are doing with your portal. I'm considering
using the IBuySpy portal platform for a new project, but I'm used to
creating apps in CodeCharge. Combining the two seems cool. I'd like to see
what you've done.
How can I contact you?
