What are your exact system specs.....
Ram, Hard drive size...space left, speed. Processor speed, Operating system?
Maybe I can help a little.

Have the same problem. No one thing seems to cause the crash. My "solution" is to delete all temporary files and then keep trying until it works. Frustrating, but so far there doesn't seem to be much feedback to provide to Yes to enable them to id a solution. I have suggested that CCS automatically delete all of its temporary files every time it is started. That doesn't fix whatever is causing the problem, but should reduce its occurence.

I am having a similar problem with CCS 1.0.7. I can't seem to track down when the crashes occur. It doesn't seem to be one thing that I do.
My system spec are:
CCS 1.0.7 Registered
Windows 2000 SP2
P600 - 384 megs of ram
20 gigs
IE 6.0

I only crash sometimes when having both VS.NET and CodeCharge open. What type of project are you doing - I suspect that some technologies are more crash prone than others - ie. C# and ASP.NET seems fine so far.

Most definitely, this type of thing is usually OS related.
I've got Win2K Professional, and never, not once, have I had CCS crash on me, after several, several weeks of heavy duty usage.

I have some problems in my installation here, starting with pre-defined ACTIONS not appearing inside the program, and since all advice from YesSoftware did not work, they recommended me reinstalling a clean OS (I am running Win XP here, which I have already up and runnning for at least 6 months without the need to reinstall, but even being XP, it seems to be time to reinstall it...).
Anyway, now I started experiencing frequent CCS crashes. The program just disappears... Could it be possible for YesSoftware to setup some 'catch' scheme which would give the possibility of sending a dump of the current program status at crash time to YesSoftware? You know, just like it happens to other programs runnning upon XP when they fail and you have the option to let XP send this debug info to Microsoft or not; in fact I don't understand why some programs do not behave like this, and CCS is one of them. Anyway, I am not talking about sending info to Microsoft here, but to YesSoftware. Could that possibly help?

I also have a problem with frequent crashing which is preceeded by what appears to be a memory leak in CCS. I use CCS for many hours at a time and now have to close/restart CCS on an hourly basis. I've submitted the support ticket, and the latest reply I have is:

Developers reported that it is the problem on our side. Unfortunately for now we cannot email you modified editor module for CCS due to modifications in other application modules. Please wait till next CCS release.
