today's date with a label?

using php and templates and need to print today's date on a page.

assuming i use a label what do i do to accomplish this?

here's what i tried to no avail...

CCFormatDate(date("Y-m-d"),array('yyyy'))

ideas?

You just have tu put label in your header page and click on defauldate in p^roperties and assign it to label you can choose the date you want shot or long
